Sockeye Steel Detailing, located in Sioux Falls, SD, was founded in 2019 by Brent Halbersma. I serve the structural steel fabrication industry with experience in renovation projects, residential homes, complex bridge detailing, free-standing sign structures, service platforms, ladders, stairs, and railing. I have over a decade of experience in the structural steel industry.

I use Autodesk Advance Steel and other latest software solutions to output approval drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists while providing model-driven shop deliverable such as NC, DXF, and KISS files to streamline fabrication and installation.

3D models are IFC capable and have interoperability with Revit, Navisworks and BIM360 to collaborate efficiently across the design team and to integrate data for quantification, simulation, clash-detection and review.
